Department of Leisure & Sport Studies
The Department of Leisure & Sports Studies trains professionals with the body, knowledge, and virtue required for the field of living and sports. The main goal of these professionals is to contribute to the implementation of a healthy society and quality of life by enhancing the rationality and efficiency of exercise for the participants in the field of living. Therefore, the curriculum in the department of social and physical education is designed to allow students to learn theory and practice for four years, so that they can grow into professionals.
Department of Golf & Sport Industry Studies
Golf is the only sport that shows a popular industrial structure beyond specialization as it expands into a new growth engine industry with high value-added properties due to structural growth within the industry with visible growth. In order to cultivate experts who can lead these industries, the Department of Golf&Sport Industry Studies aims to cultivate a field-oriented golf industry leader that aims for the future, not the present. In particular, we aim to cultivate talents specialized in the golf industry through systematic theory and field-centered curriculum by providing specialized faculty and customized education environment with expertise and practicality with the goal of specialization, internationalization, and diversification.
Department of Visual Design
The Department of Visual Design majors in researching all visual communication media, including social communication of public character, advertisement design related to industrial development, C.I (corporate image integration plan), character design, packaging design, and editorial design. In particular, we are fostering design professionals required by the information society through the development of creative modeling skills through practical training, design methods and processes, and the acquisition of theoretical systems to solve rational tasks. Students will take professional classes such as workshops by practical skills and detailed majors, internship programs, and special lectures on design.
Department of Industrial Design
Industrial design has been said to improve the quality of life of humans by improving the shaping and usability of various products created by humans in the modern industrial society. The Department of Industrial Design at Hoseo University is making great efforts to cultivate creative and innovative talents needed in the design field by raising the sense of formative arts and cultivating practical skills that can be used in all industrial activities.

Department of Animation
A systematic training is conducted on the entire process from planning to production, editing, distribution, and supervision, focusing on the development of digital video fields and animation professionals who can represent cutting-edge media such as 2D animation, 3D animation, movie VFX, stop motion, editing and CG special effects.
